DailyFold is a local-first personal organization app provided by Seventh Current. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it remains under your control.
Information stored
Events, reminders, lists, notes, settings, and completion status are stored locally on your device.
DailyFold does not require an account and does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, or a DailyFold server to transmit your organizer content.
Device permissions
DailyFold may request permission to send notifications and schedule exact alarms so reminders arrive at the requested time.
The app uses device boot events to restore scheduled reminders. Access to external storage is limited to the folder you select through Android’s system folder picker.
Backups and sharing
Android may include DailyFold’s local database and settings in the device backup associated with your Android or Google account. Android controls this process through your device’s backup settings.
Backups created inside DailyFold remain within the app. If you select an external folder, DailyFold writes backup files only to that folder. External backup files remain there until you delete them.
When you use Share, you choose the destination app or service. Information shared this way is then handled under that destination’s privacy policy.
Feedback and support
The feedback feature opens your device’s email application. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send the message.
If you contact us, your email address and message contents are used only to provide support and improve DailyFold.
Data retention and deletion
You can edit, archive, or delete information inside DailyFold.
Uninstalling the app removes its local data from the device, although Android may retain a system backup according to your backup settings. External backup files must be deleted separately by you.

Security
DailyFold keeps information in local storage and folders you select. The app does not add its own encryption to its local database or backup ZIP files.
DailyFold should not be used as a password manager or for highly sensitive information. Protection also depends on your device security, Android backup settings, external storage, and any services you use for sharing.
Children’s privacy
DailyFold is a general productivity tool and is not specifically directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when DailyFold’s features or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when updates are published.
